What’s up party people?
As I was in a sleepy haze last night, I started thinking about some of my failed relationships. Whether they were of the romantic kind, friends, professional, I was thinking of what I had done wrong to end up with those conclusions.
Cause ultimately, my life goes according to my script, I am the director, producer and lead actor in this life. Then I started thinking about all the other little things I live by and this list emerged from the proverbial vagina; or in short, it was born.
Let’s go:
1. Bros over hoes (Exception: If the hoe in question is really, really hot)
2. I am responsible for my own life
3. Destiny and fate are for lazy people. Meant to be can only happen if I make it happen.
4. Forgive eventually, never forget, fcuk me over again, you’re gone, I won’t fret
5. There are some people that I will only ever see or meet once, make an awesome first impression.
6. Having money ain’t everything, NOT having it is.
7. Second place still means you got your ass whooped.
8. I rather kill you with my words than my bare hands. It’s more hygienic.
9. There’s always a hotter girl.
10. They can’t fall for you if you don’t trip them
11. Truth doesn’t just hurt. It stings and lingers like a BITCH.
12. Time is limited, make sure you spend it with the right people
13. Upon the realisation of making a bad investment, fcuk it, don’t pour any more resources into something that won’t offer any sort of return.
14. Vegemite should not be in my sandwich.
15. Looking good is cool, but comfort comes first
16. End it on a high. Know when to give it up.
17. Making the people around you happy has a flow on effect.
18. You can always improve. Sitting on laurels is again, simply being lazy.
19. Failing to prepare, is preparing to fail.
20. Will trumps all.
21. Difficult? Give me a day. Impossible? Give me a week.
22. Adapt, adjust and articulate.
23. There’ll always be someone better than me, I’m just trying to close the gap.
